SPINNING Our Spinning workouts are a great way to relieve stress, "Me Time", also an excellent way to burn some calories, "Time Out". I am a SCHWINN trained Instructor, teaching GrpX for over 30 years SIMPA & Ereps Level 4 Registered. Everybody works at there own pace, with a choreography ride, cycling to the beat, using various tension levels to create the outside ride, inside, rpm. There are numerous benefits to a spinning workout, Low Impact, Any Age, Any Fitness Level, we use the Pilates Principles to help use the body to its best performance.
PILATES The amazing benefits of Pilates, start from your Abs!
Pilates makes you more "Mindful" Centred, it's repertoire hits your core or, in Pilates language, your "powerhouse", unlike any other workout. In fact, after completing 36 weeks of Pilates training, women strengthen their rectus abdominis (the muscle responsible for six-packs) by an average of 21 percent, while eliminating muscle imbalances between the right and left sides of their core, according to an article in Medicine & Science in a Sports & Exercise study, Pilates elongates and strengthens the muscles of the body, improving the entire muscular, skeletal system and improves the elasticity and joint mobility. A true Mind Body Connection, using all of the "Pilates Principles", Concentration-Control-Centering-Flow-Breath-Precision A body with balanced strength and flexibility is less likely to be injured, where more conventional or traditional workouts are weight bearing and tend to build short, bulky muscles - the type most prone to injury.
We use props in our classes, Swiss Balls, Bands, Fitness Circles much more, to encourage you to work different muscles, creating resistance and acknowledging the left and right side of the bodies, which may need more attention, as we are not all perfectly symmetrical. Balance work, Breath work and Mindfulness are all required in the classes.

My name is Debra I have been teaching for over 30 years, predominantly working overseas in Leisure Development/Management.
